beyond confusion was one of those paintings that starts out as one thing and ends up something totally different and a lot better than you thought it would be. i think of it in a backwards kinda way that all the colours are blending together and as you get to the center things they are separating and become clearer which might mean that you are separating from everything around you. everybody sees something different and that is one of my main objectives is to make people think about a piece.

this piece was based on a drawing made by my daughter and i just tweaked it. the title was just something i thought of just to see if people really would look for the fricken grasshopper. guess what!

here is another one of those angst paintings. all objects are outlined in black and the box of numbers(1 to 100) kinda like jasper johns(thanks). everything is i don't know confined? controlling? what do you think?
