Jim Marshall - ** self-taught local Grandview Heights artist, influenced by the abstract works of Jackson Pollock, Arshile Gorky, Franz Kline and Wassily Kandinsky. Also, in the study of the Dada Movement and the work of Man Ray, which movement later influenced the styles of surrealism and pop art. His work can be viewed in the Short North at Norka Futon, 780 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43201, and at the Agora shows in the Junctionview Studios, 889 Williams Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. His artwork can also be seen at Luck Brothers Coffee House, 1101 W. 1st Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. In addition to painting, he specializes in custom tile work and repair, hard scape design and installation and garden art. Studios are located at 539 W. Rich st. Columbus, Ohio 43215.
